meiko supports Sea-Eye

The aid organisation Sea-Eye rescues people in distress at sea, mostly refugees, from drowning. On its last mission, it was able to rescue 408 people from the Mediterranean. Since one of the women was pregnant, there were – to be exact – even 409 people.

When taking care of so many rescued people, high hygiene standards apply on board. We also received a request from the organisation, as they urgently needed mops. We donated a total of 200 wet mops for the Sea-Eye 4 and are happy that we could make a small contribution to support the team on board.
